It all happens so fast. It seems like in a blink, their toothless grin becomes a beautiful smile. What’s that saying, “The days are long, but the years are short”? Time has a way of tricking us that way. It feels like they will be leaving their messy fingerprints everywhere forever, and then we suddenly find ourselves hugging them goodbye as they move into their first apartment. As a mom of five kids, I know first hand how meaningful it is to look back at images that I can tangibly hold and vividly remember like they were yesterday. That’s the beauty of photography. It allows us to feel the love and warmth of a past moment and smile all over again.
